Show the calculated need
The stock tool can calculate the whole reams required, but it must also show that the result exceeds the inspected product page’s maximum quantity of ten. That is a supply condition, not an arithmetic error. A result of eleven reams does not mean the seller has approved an eleven-ream transaction at the observed price.
Keep the observed seller limit
For example, a target of 5500 matching declared sheets with none held requires eleven 500-sheet reams mathematically. The tool shows the added quantity and surplus, and flags the single-order limit rather than hiding it. A target of 5000 requires ten, which stays within the observed displayed limit but still does not reserve stock or guarantee checkout.
Ask for supply,not a workaround
Do not split orders or use multiple accounts merely because a calculator can count the paper. Ask Viking for the appropriate current supply quote and purchase conditions. Limits, availability and pricing may change. Our tool does not submit baskets, validate accounts or negotiate an exception.
Consider a different exact unit
A carton selection may be more appropriate for a larger requirement, but it is a new exact product comparison with its own price, material and shipping terms. Do not replace the Viking ream with a Paperstone carton while retaining the old rate or implying identical performance. Keep the transaction evidence and the physical product choice separate.
A purchase case to keep explicit
If the local target shows eleven reams, keep that result as a request quantity in a supplier enquiry. It is useful even though single-order acceptance is unresolved. Do not lower the target to ten merely to make the warning disappear;resolve the supply condition or choose a separately verified purchase unit.
