One ream,not a five-ream case
The selected Viking Everyday A4 Printer Paper record 1191233 describes a 500-sheet ream, 80 gsm, 210 by 297 mm. Its manufacturer part number is 4807600. The inspected public page showed £3.49 excluding VAT and £4.19 including VAT per pack. This is not a price for five reams or a pallet.
Read both displayed prices
At the displayed inclusive pack amount, the arithmetic is £0.838 per 100 sheets or £8.38 per 1000 sheets. Those are derived quantity rates, not extra items for sale. A completed purchase still needs the exact current price and delivery conditions;the public stock statement is not a reservation or guarantee that your order will be accepted.
Keep the quantity limit visible
The page also states a maximum quantity of ten. The stock calculator can show the mathematical number of reams wanted, but it must not present a larger result as an approved single order. If your chosen target requires more than ten of this selection, the tool explicitly withholds single-order approval and asks you to confirm supply.
Retain the unresolved whiteness conflict
The description gives 147 CIE whiteness while the specification table gives 153 CIE. Both belong to the inspected record;neither has been independently measured here. We retain the discrepancy rather than choosing the higher number or transferring a value from another Viking paper. Ask for the current exact technical sheet if whiteness decides the purchase.
A purchase case to keep explicit
For a repeat order, write both 1191233 and manufacturer part 4807600 beside “one 500-sheet ream”. If a quote instead says a case of five, save it as a new purchase unit. Confirm which CIE figure applies rather than accepting a seller response that merely repeats the brand name.
